Florida offers sun, fun and some of the country’s best golf courses….over 1,300! When it comes to golf, there are absolutely no mulligans needed here. Here is a short list of some over-the-top golf courses in Florida:

The PGA National Resort and Spa, located in Palm Beach Gardens, is of host of the PGA Tour and home to the Honda Classic. This world-class resort is luxurious, well managed, meticulously landscaped and family friendly…and the spa is beyond compare (as are any of the spas in the resorts we will mention).

Doral Golf Resort and Spa in Miami is home of the World Golf Championship. It is also famous for its unparalleled Blue Monster course – which is one of five golf courses at this magnificent golfing destination.

Ritz-Carlton in Orlando is an 18-hole Greg Norman designed course with opulent amenities and five-star resort-style service, along with a 40,000 square foot spa. It’s all about priorities!

Marriott Sawgrass Resort and Spa at Ponte Vedra Beach in Northeast Florida, with moss draped Spanish oaks, ocean breezes and lush, lavishly maintained greens, is unbelievable gorgeous.

La Playa Beach and Golf Resort in Naples is a Robert Cupp designed championship course and one of this state’s most popular. It offers high-end amenities, beautifully landscaped grounds and one of the best restaurants in the entire Southeastern United States!
